7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. | Breakfast: Before exploring the United States' southernmost point, be sure to fuel up with a big breakfast at Banana Café. Here you can enjoy anything from steak and eggs to a variety of savory crepes.
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Fishing Excursion: Bypass overcrowded snorkeling tours and experience a lower-impact excursion into Key West’s finest marine environment with Captain Mark Schmidt’s Fishing Excursions.
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. | Lunch: As you make your way 30 miles north to Big Pine Key, be sure to stop at Big Pine Rooster for lunch. This from-scratch kitchen offers some of the best seafood in the Keys. If seafood isn’t your thing, you can also find anything from fresh salads to burgers on their menu.
3:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Explore Bahia Honda State Park: A trip through Big Pine Key wouldn’t be the same without experiencing the beautiful white sand beaches. If you’re lucky you may be able to spot sea turtles and tropical birds while you visit.
5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Sunset Dinner Cruise: Before you make your way back to Florida’s mainland, be sure to stop and experience the sun set in the best way possible—on a Captain Hook’s sunset dinner cruise.
