9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Breakfast: A Tybee Island staple since 1976, the Breakfast Club is a local favorite. Known as the “best breakfast in Savannah,” kick off your Tybee Island adventure by creating your own omelet or enjoying a country fried steak breakfast. Vegetarian and vegan friendly, fill your belly with something good before you start your adventure in Tybee.
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Tybee Island Light Station: Georgia’s oldest and tallest lighthouse, the Tybee Island Light Station is a must-see. Spend your morning exploring a piece of history and take advantage of the perfect photo opportunity (be sure to tag #myRCI) at this treasured attraction. Note – the lighthouse is closed on Tuesdays.
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Lunch: Described as a “vibrantly colored outpost for a broad variety of Mexican staples,” the Agave Bar and Grill is a Tybee Island fixture. Cool off with cold drinks and delicious food before exploring the rest of the island.
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Dolphin Tour with Captain Mike: Schedule an afternoon Dolphin Tour with Captain Mike to view the Cockspur Lighthouse, and the Tybee Lighthouse up close. You will cruise past the shrimp boats, docked at Lazaretto Creek Marina. Count the dolphins as they swim next to and follow the boat.
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. | Take a Ride to Tybee Pier and Pavilion: From sea to land, rent a bike from Time’s Bike and Beach gear and take a ride to Tybee Pier and Pavilion to fish, people watch and take a stroll along the pier. Make sure you make a stop for a snack at The Sugar Shack and enjoy some of the best ice cream on the island.
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Dinner: Sting Ray’s Seafood: Close out an active day at the laid-back Sting Ray’s Seafood. Featuring umbrella’d deck seating, relax to live music and some of the best seafood on the main strip of Tybee Island.
